About the Role

Our 15-person Data Engineering & BI team transforms clients into data-driven companies, enabling them to better understand their business environment, make smarter decisions, and deploy AI-driven data products. We evaluate data product initiatives and define roadmaps for data-driven software engineering projects. Through Data Engineering, we build performant ETL pipelines to consolidate enterprise data into a Data Warehouse, Data Lake, or Data Lakehouse. We utilize data privacy-compliant data modeling approaches such as Data Vault, Data Mesh, and Data Medallion Model. With Data Analytics, we provide the latest reporting tools and enable extensive self-service exploratory analysis. Using Data Science & MLOps, we automatically identify patterns in enterprise data and make robust, explainable predictions.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on robust and high-performance data modeling and architecture.
Develop data pipelines and ETL processes in Azure Fabrics and Databricks.
Create reports using BI and visualization tools, such as Power BI or Tableau.
Take on technical leadership in projects or requirements engineering with the client, depending on project requirements.

Requirements

Successfully completed studies in Computer Science, Data Science, or a comparable field.
Several years of professional experience in Data Engineering and Data Science, as well as in classic software development with Python and SQL.
Proficient in using platforms like Microsoft Fabric or Databricks, and in implementing dashboards with Power BI or Tableau.
Relevant experience in technical team leadership.
Fluent in German and English.
Willingness for occasional travel within Germany (workshops, trade fairs, conferences).
