About the Role
Join Optiver's Global Talent Assessment Tooling Team (GTAT) as a Software Engineer. You will ensure the scalability and reliability of in-house built platforms, contributing to the full software development lifecycle of global platforms that serve as the central hub for talent assessments, training, education, and test authorization. This role is crucial for shaping the future of global talent acquisition.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain our talent assessment tooling platform and features supporting recruitment.
- Collaborate with recruitment teams globally to ensure the platform is scalable, reliable, and user-friendly.
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
- Utilize frontend technologies (React/Angular) to enhance user interfaces and experiences.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in full stack development.
- Proficiency in server-side development utilizing C# .NET or Python.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL or SQL Server).
- Experience with frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and an entrepreneurial attitude.
- Ability to clearly explain thoughts through written and verbal communication, ask the right questions, and work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
