About the Role
In the role of Project Controller, you will deliver distinct elements of projects or contribute to the delivery of overall programmes of work. You will be accountable for monitoring and escalating project management KPIs and performance metrics, communicating project process compliance issues, and ensuring timely and accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting. You will collaborate with project teams on national and international projects across various sectors, including Defence & Central Government, industrial, manufacturing, and technology.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the production of basic plans and schedules for projects, and monitor and review financial information to identify anomalies or discrepancies.
- Support the delivery of projects to time and quality standards by contributing to professional assignments.
- Collate and interpret data to prepare documents including project plans and schedules.
- Analyze project data and trends to develop recommendations for senior colleagues.
- Monitor and evaluate project management processes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Complete complex, professional-level tasks, prioritizing workload and interpreting policies to support the project management function.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to provide specialist advisory support and act as a focal point for operational project queries.
Requirements
- Relevant business experience, including experience supporting large and complex projects.
- Good communication skills, including the ability to liaise with peers and senior colleagues and build and maintain relationships.
- Commercial awareness and organizational understanding.
- A logical approach and ability to think through complex issues to coordinate multi-faceted aspects of projects.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and systems.

Education Level
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
