About the Role
We are seeking a professional to join our Pricing Department, responsible for driving pricing strategies from data analysis to FSA approval. This role involves proposing rate revisions to contribute to top-line and bottom-line growth, strengthening product development management for accurate execution of product launches and rate revisions, and supporting junior members to enhance the team's capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of foundational documents based on pricing strategy.
- Lead negotiations for FSA approval.
- Manage foundational documents.
- Strengthen and appropriately operate the product development management system.
- Ensure smooth execution of internal approval processes.
- Implement rate revisions based on timely and appropriate assessments of top and bottom-line performance.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Regularly monitor the portfolio and develop necessary action plans.
- Lead cohort analysis.
- Support and guide junior members in their daily tasks.
- Assist with career development for junior members.
Requirements
- Negotiation skills to build strong relationships with FSA.
- Over 5 years of product development experience.
- Advanced mathematical analysis skills.
- Strong strategic and logical thinking with quantitative analysis skills.
- Leadership skills to drive change.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-finding, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
- Membership or equivalent knowledge/experience with the Institute of Actuaries of Japan.
- Minimum English proficiency required for internal communication.
