About the Role

This Product Quality Engineer role supports the Dive-XL product, focusing on defining, developing, and executing processes to ensure high-quality and reliable products. The role involves working hands-on to build world-class quality processes and being accountable for results.
Responsibilities
- Work in a modern manufacturing environment supporting incoming inspection, in-process inspection and end of line inspection.
- Lead Material review board processes to ensure timely resolution of non-conformances.
- Lead supplier quality assurance activities, including supplier development, qualification (PPAP/FAI), and ongoing verification.
- Propose, develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to support AS9100/ISO9001 certification.
- Support ongoing development of manufacturing work instructions.
- Review and propose continuous improvement projects for productivity gains, quality improvements, and benefits to Anduril's quality policy.
- Support the calibration process of test equipment, jigs and fixtures.
- Support internal and external audits on processes and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar technical field.
- Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality in aerospace/defense/maritime or similar hardware.
- Working knowledge of design review and quality management of PCBA, harnessing, avionics, systems integration, composites, propulsion systems and welding.
- Experience driving product quality and performance requirements to test and measurement system development and optimization.
- Leading the transition from engineering qualification to manufacturing variance testing for product quality coverage.
- Working knowledge of product development methodologies such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) elements such as Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Working knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical manufacturing processes.
- A strong ownership mindset with demonstrated capability to drive projects from start to completion.
- Analytical skills and experiences for data mining, data quality, metrics generation, issue management systems, and statistical analysis tools (MatLab, JMP, MiniTab, etc).
- Ability to obtain and maintain an NV2 Security Clearance.
