About the Role
Wizcorp is seeking a Senior 3D Background Artist to work on projects for next-generation game consoles. This role offers the opportunity to work with a global team and contribute to diverse art styles. We are looking for individuals passionate about bringing magic back to game development.
Responsibilities
- Designing and creating backgrounds for games based on game design documents, in collaboration with planners and programmers.
- Producing 3D background models, including modeling, sculpting, texturing, and setup.
- Providing technical support for 3D background production.
Requirements
- Specialized skills and knowledge in the 3D background modeling production process.
- Over 7 years of background modeling experience in the game industry.
- Experience using multiple DCC tools such as Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter, and Houdini.
- Experience with background modeling using Unity or Unreal Engine.
- Knowledge of shaders and scripting.
- Knowledge of high-end graphics in 3DCG.
