About the Role
The Operations and Service Delivery Lead is responsible for leading operational and service delivery support functions, including project governance, administration, cost control, business reporting, and resource planning. This role acts as the key integration point between customers, business stakeholders, project teams, service providers, and operational teams, driving operational excellence and influencing business performance in a Defence and Aerospace environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead Project Controllers and oversee project governance, scheduling, and reporting activities.
- Drive project performance monitoring, forecasting, cost control, and portfolio reporting.
- Lead workforce planning, resource allocation, and capacity management across projects and operations.
- Provide project and operational analysis to support business planning and decision-making.
- Partner with customers, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across project control and operational processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Project Management, Engineering, Facilities Management or a related discipline.
- 7+ years' experience in operations, service delivery, project controls, project management or business operations.
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in project governance, reporting, planning and performance management.
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams.
- Ability to work from our Homebush, NSW site.
- Australian Citizenship and eligibility to obtain a Defence Security Clearance.
Skills
- PMP, PRINCE2, APMP or Agile Project Management certification.
- Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Experience with Planisware, MS Project, SAP, Oracle, SharePoint and Power BI.
- Experience within Defence, Aerospace, Aviation, Engineering or Technology sectors.
