About the Role

This internship focuses on a strategic question for Endeavor Catalyst: identifying key partners, understanding their needs, and demonstrating value delivery. You will conduct research, analyze potential institutions, and help standardize investor offerings and reporting. The output will inform senior leadership decisions and provide exposure to institutional capital management in venture capital.

Responsibilities

• Benchmark how the world's leading investors service their most important partners.
• Research how top venture funds, development finance institutions and fund-of-funds define, structure and service their largest investors.
• Gather evidence from public sources and conversations to form an actionable point of view.
• Analyze and prioritize candidate institutions across markets.
• Build and score candidate lists of institutional investors and family offices across geographies.
• Make the case for which institutions are worth pursuing and why.
• Help standardize what we offer our investors.
• Document what each part of our investor offering involves, what it takes to deliver, and how it should be described.
• Turn a set of practices into something clear, consistent and repeatable.
• Build the evidence base and help design how we report it.
• Reconstruct what we have delivered to our investors over recent years and organize it into a presentable format.
• Help shape what we report to investors and on what cadence.

Requirements

• Undergraduate junior or senior, or graduate student.
• Preferred background in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, International Studies or a related field; candidates from other disciplines with relevant skills and interest are encouraged to apply.
• Strong written English.
• Comfort with primary research: finding the people who know something, asking good questions, and being undeterred by an unanswered email.
• Analytical ability with both numbers and structure, and genuine enjoyment in taking something messy and organizing it.
• Interest in venture capital, institutional investing or emerging markets; prior finance experience is welcome and not required.
• Sound judgment about confidentiality.
• Takes direction well, comes back with more than was asked for, and says so when something does not make sense.
• Comfortable working in a multilingual, global, cross-cultural environment, and across time zones.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Valid U.S. work authorization for the 2027 year is required.
