About the Role
We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to join our production team as an Automated Fabric Cutting Machine Operator. The position involves operating a Gerber Paragon HX 2.0 automated cutting machine used to cut jersey, fleece, knit and other textile fabrics. We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, comfortable using computers, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
Responsibilities
- Operate and safely work around a Gerber Paragon HX 2.0
- Prepare and set up cutting jobs
- Load and position textile materials
- Select and verify production jobs and cutting files
- Operate the automated cutting process
- Inspect cut parts for quality and accuracy
- Recognize and resolve common cutting problems
- Perform routine operator maintenance
- Follow production and quality procedures
- Work with different types of jersey, fleece and knit fabrics
- Maintain accurate production records
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Good communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable attendance
- Ability to follow safety and production procedures
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment

- Employees who successfully complete training will have the opportunity to become Certified Paragon Operators and advance to Senior Operator / Setup Technician positions.
