About the Role
The primary role of the Production & Assembly function is to manufacture, assemble, and pack products, managing day-to-day production and planning while supporting changing demands. This includes programming, setting up, and monitoring production equipment, performing assembly operations, and conducting quality control checks.
Responsibilities
- Manufacture, assemble, and pack products.
- Manage day-to-day production and planning functions.
- Support changing demands in manufacturing.
- Program, set-up, and monitor production equipment and processes.
- Perform assembly operations.
- Perform quality control checks on incoming and finished goods.
- Ensure compliance with Quality, OH&S, GMP policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide support for tooling, plant, and equipment by completing maintenance activities.
- Document manufacturing equipment calibration systems.
- Determine and assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
- Focus on the development and implementation of strategic and operational objectives.
- Implement organization strategies through effective management of employees and resources.
- Lead cooperative efforts among project team members.
- Coach team members on performance and provide input for performance evaluations.
Requirements
- Applies acquired expertise and exercises judgment to analyze and solve problems without clear precedent.
- Analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors.
Experience Level
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience.
Education Level
- Bachelor’s degree.
