About the Role
Support the monthly close process, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and accounts payable activities across multiple entities. This role works closely with the Senior Accountant, VP of Finance, and operational teams to ensure accurate financial records and timely reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional looking to gain hands-on experience in a growing healthcare organization.
Responsibilities
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Review vendor payments and accounts payable transactions for accuracy.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and prepaid schedules.
- Analyze general ledger accounts and investigate variances.
- Record and reconcile deposits, inventory activity, and vendor statements.
- Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting.
- Support annual audit preparation and special accounting projects.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
Requirements
- 1+ years of accounting, financial reporting, or accounts payable experience.
- Working knowledge of GAAP.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate with colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
