About the Role
The Marketing Officer helps develop and lead integrated marketing strategies to engage high-net-worth individuals, families, and advisors, driving donor growth initiatives and supporting organizational marketing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Execute and contribute to donor growth marketing strategies to increase awareness, engagement, referrals, and philanthropic revenue.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels, including social media, email, events, and donor outreach.
- Use audience research, segmentation, data, and judgment to define KPIs, monitor performance, report outcomes, and implement improvements.
- Develop and coordinate donor- and advisor-facing content, event marketing, advertising, and outreach to communicate the foundation's value.
- Develop practical knowledge of HNW/UHNW individuals and advisors to create content and engagement strategies.
- Document methods, share tools and lessons, and help colleagues strengthen their use of marketing technology, data, and testing practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated ability to independently develop and lead marketing strategies from concept through execution.
- Proven strategic and analytical capability, including using data and insights to optimize marketing strategies.
- Ability to translate high-level organizational goals into actionable plans.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication and marketing skills, including excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Interest in philanthropy, racial equity, and the Bay Area.
- Experience marketing to HNW or UHNW individuals, families, family offices, or their wealth advisors is strongly preferred.
