About the Role

As an IT Administrator, you will ensure employees are technically well-equipped for their daily work and can rely on dependable IT. You will manage the first day for new colleagues, administer devices and access, and provide daily IT support, all while managing the background operations. This role involves more than just support; you will take ownership of our internal IT infrastructure, improve existing processes, and help scale our IT structures with Flatpay's growth. You will work hands-on, closely with the team, and find practical solutions for everything from new laptops to access rights, card readers, and event technology.

Responsibilities

  • Set up IT equipment and access for new employees and manage structured returns and deactivations upon departure.
  • Configure and manage laptops, smartphones, and accessories, ensuring all employees are ready to start.
  • Set up card readers and prepare them for reliable use in the field.
  • Create accounts, manage access rights, and maintain internal systems and tools.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for technical questions and issues, finding quick, practical solutions.
  • Ensure technology such as speakers, screens, and presentation equipment functions flawlessly during internal events and offsites.
  • Monitor hardware inventory, document processes, and develop internal workflows.
  • Coordinate external IT service providers and suppliers, and track orders.

Requirements

  • First experience in IT administration, IT support, or a comparable technical role.
  • Familiarity with setting up and managing laptops (Windows/macOS) and smartphones (iOS/Android), along with common tools.
  • Enjoy practical work, taking initiative, and finding solutions for unexpected problems.
  • Work in a structured manner, maintain an overview of multiple open topics, and document carefully.
  • Communicate in a friendly and understandable way, even when dealing with technical matters.
  • Very good German language skills and solid English language skills.
  • Initial knowledge of MDM solutions, Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, and network and event technology is a plus.
