About the Role
Flatpay is seeking a KYC Agent to review and onboard new merchants in the US, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, internal guidelines, and banking partner needs. The role is ideal for an analytical, detail-oriented individual eager to learn, even without extensive prior KYC experience.
Responsibilities
- Review and assess KYC files for new merchants.
- Verify company information.
- Review identity documents, bank details, and company documentation.
- Ensure files comply with Flatpay’s internal compliance guidelines and banking partner onboarding requirements.
- Identify missing, incorrect, or conflicting information.
- Request and review additional documentation.
- Ensure KYC files are complete, accurate, and consistently documented.
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Support, and Operations.
- Investigate discrepancies between CRM systems, internal tools, and official registers.
- Contribute ideas to improve onboarding processes and working procedures.
- Support the continued growth and development of the KYC team in the US.
Requirements
- Fluent in English
- Right to work in the US (visa sponsorship is not available for this role)
- Able to work from our New York office 5 days a week
