About the Role
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a dynamic Partner Development Manager for the Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) region. This role involves shaping and executing strategies to increase the adoption of AWS services and solutions by managing strategic consulting partners and driving large-scale customer transformations.
Responsibilities
- Manage strategic business development and growth initiatives to accelerate APJ's most strategic partnerships.
- Establish, build, and execute strategic planning, initiatives, and run-the-business mechanisms.
- Engage with AWS partner sales and core team leaders to support partner growth through new capabilities and services.
- Manage and develop relationships with multiple Sales and Partner Leadership stakeholders.
- Produce high-quality written documents and coach others on document creation for executive engagements.
Requirements
- Proven track record of managing and influencing senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with limited guidance once objectives and direction are set.
- Willingness to travel to meet with partners, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Experience working with large, global organizations is preferred.
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.
