About the Role
We are seeking physical design engineers to manage and execute the physical design process for dies within our A-0 and A-1 systems. This includes determining in-house versus outsourced tasks, managing outsourced work, and integrating it with the in-house flow.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute the physical design process for A-0 and A-1 systems dies
- Decide between in-house and outsourced physical design tasks
- Manage outsourced physical design processes
- Integrate outsourced physical design work with the in-house flow
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with the physical design process for at least one block in multiple advanced node tapeouts
- Ability to understand PPA limiters from RTL
- Coordinate with microarchitects to modify RTL for PPA improvement
- Experience with both in-house and outsourced physical design flows
