About the Role
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer specializing in Microcontroller/Embedded Systems to join our development team. You will be responsible for the development and advancement of embedded software and hardware solutions for high-precision thermal imaging systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and program microcontroller software in C for embedded systems.
- Advance firmware and operating system concepts for real-time applications.
- Support hardware development, including circuit design, layout, and system integration.
- Develop and optimize electronic and software architectures for thermal imaging systems.
- Collaborate closely with external development partners and manage technical coordination.
- Oversee development projects from conception to series production readiness.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable technical qualification.
- Several years of experience in embedded development (software and ideally hardware).
- Very good knowledge of C and microcontroller programming (e.g., AVR/ATmega or comparable).
- Experience in developing embedded system architectures and real-time applications.
- Knowledge of circuit development and PCB design is advantageous.
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented work approach.
- Very good German language skills (written and spoken, minimum C1).
