About the Role
We are seeking a Programmer / Technical Computer Scientist (m/f/d) in full-time to join our development department. You will work on the development of embedded software and hardware-related systems for high-precision thermal imaging technology.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of embedded systems through microcontroller programming (C)
- Participate in software development for ARM Cortex-based systems
- Assist in the development and integration of FPGA-based components (especially in image and signal processing)
- Work on the further development of software and system architectures for thermal imaging devices
- Accompany technical projects in collaboration with external partners and institutes
- Create and maintain technical documentation throughout the entire development process
Requirements
- Experience in embedded software development (especially C on microcontrollers)
- Basic knowledge or practical experience with ARM Cortex systems
- Experience in FPGA development is advantageous (especially in signal/image processing)
- Knowledge in video or image data processing is desirable
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented work style
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Very good German language skills (written and spoken, at least C1)
