About the Role
The Senior CX Software Engineer role is for individuals with prior experience in distributed computing, Canton Network, or our products. These engineers can provide expert client advice independently and collaborate effectively on component implementation within client solutions. They are also capable of engaging confidently with senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Leverages design thinking to propose robust client solutions.
- Works with CQRS and event sourcing.
- Implements design patterns and architectural principles.
- Works across different languages to achieve client outcomes.
- Implements different testing approaches.
- Interviews technical candidates.
- Identifies the best approach for a client implementation.
- Tests for, identifies, and remediates performance bottlenecks in client solutions.
- Learns new features and integrates them into client solutions.
- Contributes to DA Product components with client experiences.
- Translates delivery pain points into actionable product feedback.
- Measures and monitors the health of a running system.
- Handles deployment and fine-tuning of complex topologies into cloud environments, including load balancers and reverse proxies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering and ability to ship production-ready applications.
- Broad technical exposure with the ability to ramp up quickly on new frameworks, languages, or cloud platforms.
- Experience in leading technical execution of feature sets.
- Experience conducting thorough code reviews.
- Experience implementing architectural best practices for a team.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to clarify ambiguous requirements and explain technical concepts.
- Strong financial services domain knowledge and experience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment with multiple competing priorities.
- Curious, pragmatic, and adaptable, with the ability to learn quickly in complex environments.
