About the Role
Lead maintenance operations, ensuring efficient and well-maintained spaces. Guide a high-performing team, respond to challenges, and uphold environmental standards for a welcoming, reliable, and safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the maintenance team
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance
- Oversee equipment upgrades and repairs
- Troubleshoot using control systems and technical diagrams
- Ensure safety compliance and maintain accurate records
- Liaise with Hotel Management and staff to carry out required painting, redecoration and general maintenance duties
- Carry out all administrative work related to maintenance operations, ensuring all jobs are accurately logged from request through to completion
Requirements
- Experience in hotel, hospitality, facilities or a similar maintenance environment
- Experience leading or supervising a maintenance team
- Strong knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance, repairs and building services
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and interpret technical diagrams and control systems
- Good understanding of health & safety, compliance and maintenance standards
- Practical experience across general building maintenance, including painting and redecoration
- Strong organisation and administration skills, including accurate job logging and maintenance records
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with Hotel Management and operational teams
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on keeping the hotel safe, compliant and operating smoothly
