About the Role
As a General Radiographer with Lumus Imaging based in Sydney City, you'll perform chest x-rays, with the added variety of working across clinic and hospital sites. Your day will include performing general chest x-rays to a high clinical standard, ensuring patient comfort, safety and dignity throughout every examination, working closely with radiologists, referrers and fellow radiographers to deliver accurate, timely results, maintaining equipment and adhering to radiation safety and quality standards, and supporting a positive, collaborative team environment across clinic and hospital settings.
Responsibilities
- Performing general chest x-rays, to a high clinical standard
- Ensuring patient comfort, safety and dignity throughout every examination
- Working closely with radiologists, referrers and fellow radiographers to deliver accurate, timely results
- Maintaining equipment and adhering to radiation safety and quality standards
- Supporting a positive, collaborative team environment across clinic and hospital settings
Requirements
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Science) or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration
- Experience in general radiography
- A patient-first approach, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative team player who's happy to work flexibly across clinic and hospital sites
