About the Role
The CRM Associate will facilitate the capture, organization, use, and analysis of constituent data to achieve the Tunnel to Towers Foundation's organizational objectives. This role involves maintaining the daily operations of the database/CRM system, tracking collaborative projects, and working on strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the daily operation of Tunnel to Towers’ database/CRM system.
- Track collaborative projects including marketing and public information, outreach, and general constituent relationship management.
- Provide daily oversight of data availability and quality.
- Work with technical resources and management on strategic initiatives.
- Translate end-user needs into effective queries and reports.
- Assist in special events such as NYC Tunnel to Towers Run, golf outings, and other fundraising events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years nonprofit technology experience, or equivalent background.
- Database management skills with contemporary relational databases, including administrative configuration, reporting, dashboards, and data quality.
- Proficiency in cloud software management, particularly CRM systems, for general database administration, security, backup, data imports/exports, and integration.
- Excellent analytical, research, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills, with technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Proficiency in CRM administration, including prospect and constituent management, data quality, and developing reports.
- Good understanding of nonprofit fundraising processes, donor cultivation, nonprofit marketing, and related financial requirements.
- Good understanding of software and business processes associated with project management and grant management software systems.
- Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to respond quickly and effectively to front-line staff.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, be proactive, take initiative, resolve problems, follow through, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong experience with primary office software packages, including MS Excel, Access, Outlook, Active Directory.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including shortcuts, formula functions, sorting/filtering, building charts/graphs, and utilizing pivot tables.
- Understanding of general web concepts for liaising with teams for online forms and integrations.
- Pre-employment screening, including a background check, is required.
