About the Role
As a Superintendent Intern/Co-op, you will gain exposure to the full lifecycle of a construction project while working alongside experienced professionals. This role offers hands-on experience in field operations, safety leadership, scheduling, coordination, and quality control, contributing to the growth of future industry leaders within a top design/build construction firm.
Responsibilities
- Gain exposure to how ARCO manages daily job site activities from site mobilization through project completion.
- Participate in daily safety meetings, job site inspections, and learn how to promote and maintain a strong safety culture.
- Assist with coordinating subcontractor activities and monitoring progress to help keep projects on schedule.
- Observe and support quality inspections to ensure work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and ARCO standards.
Requirements
- Minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 out of 4.0
- Enrolled in Civil/Architectural/Construction Engineering or Construction Management degree program
- Co-op or Intern construction experience preferred
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic
- Active Driver's License
