About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Structural Engineering Intern who is passionate about the design, engineering, and construction process to join our team. At OneFourTwo, an Intern/Co-op has the opportunity to assist their team with various tasks.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with technical drafting staff, clients, and other outside project team members
- Prepare preliminary designs for clients
- Review building codes to assure correct implementation of preparation and design
- Attend client meetings, coordinate with construction project managers, architect, civil, and mechanical engineers
- Produce structural calculations for implementation with technical drafting staff during preparation of construction documents for permit submittal as well as construction
- Produce construction ready design drawings using Revit and coordinate with all disciplines to assure complete and accurate alignment
Requirements
- Minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 out of 4.0
- Enrolled in Civil or Structural Engineering degree program (Graduate or Undergraduate)
- Previous construction or engineering internship/co-op experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic

- $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
