About the Role
As a logistics dispatcher, you will be a crucial link between customers, internal departments, drivers, and external transport partners. The role involves organizing, maintaining an overview of multiple parallel processes, and coordinating customer orders, vehicles, and deliveries within an internationally active and established company in the industrial and manufacturing sector.
Responsibilities
- Accept, review, and record incoming customer orders.
- Plan and coordinate daily transport and delivery orders.
- Efficiently schedule available vehicles and transport capacities.
- Coordinate delivery dates and last-minute changes with customers.
- Monitor ongoing orders and deliveries.
- Respond quickly and with solutions to delays or changes.
- Coordinate and contract external transport companies.
- Review associated invoices.
- Maintain and ensure high quality of order and dispatch data.
- Process and internally coordinate customer inquiries and complaints.
Requirements
- Completed commercial or technical vocational training.
- Ideally, initial professional experience in dispatch, logistics, transport, forwarding, or a comparable field.
- Very good German language skills, at least C1 level.
- Proficient use of digital applications and good IT affinity.
- Structured, reliable, and solution-oriented approach to work.
- Organizational talent and the ability to prioritize in a dynamic daily business.
- Strong communication skills and a confident demeanor with customers and service providers.
- Good geographical understanding of Berlin and Brandenburg.
- Teamwork, flexibility, and resilience.
- Experience from an industrial, manufacturing, or logistics-related environment is advantageous but not strictly required.
