About the Role
Parklife Metro JV is seeking an Undergraduate Engineer to join the Design & Engineering - Interface & SESA team in Sydney CBD. This role offers exposure to design coordination, requirements management, and assurance functions on a major rail infrastructure project, contributing to Systems Engineering, Safety Assurance & Systems Integration (SESASI) deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Support requirements traceability activities, including correlation of design and construction requirements within the Requirements Verification and Traceability Matrix (RVTM).
- Attend design coordination, interface and assurance meetings in an observation and note-taking capacity, and prepare draft minutes for review.
- Support the preparation of evidence packs for assurance submissions, including document reference checking and completeness verification.
- Undertake structured review of civil design documentation to build familiarity with drawing sets, specifications and design reports.
- Prepare short written summaries and data extracts to support the Engineering Manager's reporting obligations.
- Complete all mandatory inductions and comply with project WHS, confidentiality and information handling requirements.
