About the Role
Play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service by keeping stations, platforms, and facilities clean, safe, and well presented. This role offers valuable hands-on experience and ongoing support to help you grow your career with Sydney Trains. A talent pool will be created for full-time and part-time opportunities over the next 18 months.
Responsibilities
- Keeping stations, platforms, and facilities clean, safe, and well presented.
- Completing scheduled and ad hoc cleaning tasks.
- Assisting customers on their journey.
- Creating a positive and inclusive experience for the community.
Requirements
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to follow safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Organised and able to manage time effectively.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced or changing environments.
- Willing and able to commit to a 24/7 rotating roster, including early mornings, late nights, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident for permanent positions in the NSW Public Sector.
- Subject to satisfactory medical and functional assessment, drug & alcohol and criminal record checks.
