About the Role

Green Mountain Electric Supply is seeking a Full-Time Shipping Lead (2nd Shift) for their expanding Electrical Supplies business in Kirkwood, NY. This role involves assisting the Shipping Supervisor with daily tasks, training new employees, and acting as a point of contact for staff.

Responsibilities

Assists with daily tasks including picking, checking, verifying orders, loading trucks, and putting stock away.
Trains new employees on basic job functions within the Shipping Department.
Serves as the first line of communication between staff and the Shipping Supervisor.
Audits other associates’ orders to verify accuracy and routing.
Addresses inaccuracies or errors when required.
Responds to and assists other associates with inventory discrepancies, locating product or supplies, and inquiries.
Acts as the point of contact for and assumes department responsibilities in the absence of the supervisor/manager.
Leads other associates in basic warehouse maintenance, including cleaning and restocking inventory and supplies.
Encompasses all essential duties and responsibilities of the Shipping Associate position.

Requirements
