About the Role
You'll be one of our first software hires, building the systems that make an automated harness factory run, including the instant-quoting engine, production/MES software, customer-facing tooling, and the data backbone. This is a high-ownership generalist role where you'll ship features end-to-end, interact with users, and influence architecture as the company scales.
Responsibilities
- Build full-stack features across the quoting engine, production software, and internal tools.
- Turn harness drawings, BOMs, and pinouts into structured data that drives instant quotes and build instructions.
- Integrate software with the shop floor and automated equipment, including job tracking, test results, and machine data.
- Design schemas and data pipelines to synchronize quoting, production, inventory, and procurement.
- Collaborate directly with production, engineering, and customers to identify high-impact development opportunities.
- Own the quality, reliability, and iteration speed of shipped features.
Requirements
- A track record of building and shipping production software end-to-end.
- Comfortable across a modern web stack and relational databases.
- Comfortable owning a feature from data model to UI to deployment.
- Able to work on-site in Austin, TX (or relocate); exceptional Toronto-based candidates considered.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada.
