About the Role
The Training Instructor will teach the approved training curriculum for Home Health Aides or Personal Care Aides at our Staten Island training school. Responsibilities include conducting educational in-services, administering competency evaluations, and ensuring training adheres to all regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Provide related instruction and supervise students.
- Proctor and grade tests.
- Document student progress and complete required forms/reports.
- Prepare and submit a course of study including program objectives, student performance objectives, and lesson plans.
- Perform other duties as requested by the director, program coordinator, and company management.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- NYS Licensed, Registered, and in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in New York.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an RN providing direct patient care at a CHHA, LHCSA, or Hospice Program.
- Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
