About the Role
Special Touch Home Care is seeking RNs for a flexible fee-for-service Registered Nurse position within our licensed home care services agency. This role involves initial evaluations and re-assessments of home care clients, ensuring HHAs are competent and properly trained, and internal case management. It offers one-on-one patient contact and staff mentoring.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial evaluations of home care clients.
- Conduct re-assessments of home care clients.
- Observe clinical proficiencies of HHAs to ensure competence and proper training.
- Accountable for internal case management.
Requirements
- Current and Valid NYS RN License.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 1 Year of nursing experience (home care preferred, not required).
- Access to a car (company reimburses mileage).
- Excellent patient care and assessment skills.
- Experience with UAS Assessment/documentation a plus (not required).
