About the Role
Zealot builds AI systems for vulnerability research, emulation, and exploit development for U.S. defense and intelligence customers. We are seeking vulnerability researchers to design and build agentic systems for autonomous vulnerability research against various targets, including firmware, network stacks, mobile OSes, and IoT.
Responsibilities
- Design and build agentic systems for autonomous vulnerability research.
- Integrate emulation, instrumentation, and fuzzing into agent tool interfaces.
- Develop evaluation and benchmarking infrastructure.
Requirements
- Prior Vulnerability Research experience.
- Willing to relocate to work in-person/hybrid in our New York City office.
Skills
- Systems programming (C/C++, Rust)
- ML infrastructure
- Binary analysis
- Memory corruption classes
- Modern mitigations (ASLR, CFI, PAC, MTE)
- Agent harnesses (orchestration, tool-use, eval loops)
- Emulation stacks (QEMU, Unicorn, Qiling, PANDA, FirmAE)
- Debuggers (GDB, IDA, Ghidra)
- Reverse engineering
