About the Role
M7 Health is seeking a Software Engineer to help redefine hospital nursing staff management. This role involves hands-on contribution to technical initiatives and close collaboration with product managers and healthcare operations experts.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, high-visibility features that power hospital operations nationwide.
- Apply AI/ML techniques to enhance scheduling intelligence, streamline workflows, and surface actionable insights for healthcare staff.
- Design and evolve the backend for reliability, performance, and growth.
- Partner with Product, Ops, and Customer teams to turn user needs into elegant, impactful solutions.
- Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code.
- Support team productivity through code reviews and best practices.
- Contribute beyond the job description by solving customer challenges or refining team processes.
Requirements
- Thrive in fast-paced environments, manage ambiguity well, and focus on what moves the needle.
- Comfortable across the full stack.
- Experience with React, TypeScript, and Vite.
- Experience with Node.js, NestJS, and TypeORM.
- Experience with PostgreSQL.
- Experience with AWS or similar cloud infrastructure.
- Enjoy turning ideas into software and iterating fast based on feedback.
- Balance personal contributions with unblocking team members.
- Think like a user, prioritizing usability and real-world impact.
- Explain complex ideas clearly and collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.
