About the Role
CLFC is expanding its sign language interpreter roster to support both on-site and remote/virtual assignments. We are seeking experienced New York sign language interpreters looking to supplement their existing schedule with flexible, high-priority appointments.
Responsibilities
- Accept assignments that align with your availability.
- Work in person at the ACCES-VR district office and at community sites.
- Handle logistics, contracting, and invoicing.
- Manage scheduling, location confirmations, and appointment details through the BRIDGE App.
Requirements
- Active interpreter certification (e.g., RID, BEI), or demonstrated interpreting experience with an active pathway to certification.
- Professional interpreting background in medical, legal, educational, or government settings.
- Dependable transportation to on-site appointments across the counties the district office serves.
- Submit current resume, relevant credentials/certifications, and general availability.

Salary/Compensations
- $42.00 to $50.00 per hour
- Guaranteed 2-hour minimum per assignment
