About the Role
Our Urban Development team is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Sydney. In this role you will contribute to the successful delivery of civil engineering projects, from feasibility and concept design to detailed design. Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams, you’ll play a key part in ensuring technical excellence and project success. You’ll help us deliver projects across a range of sectors from major residential, industrial and commercial land/urban development projects to health, education and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical advice, direction, and overview of the day-to-day delivery of urban development engineering designs, meeting budgetary, quality, safety, and timeframe targets.
- Manage selected designs and teams to develop and implement the highest level of technical delivery through effective review processes while exceeding client expectations.
- Build effective relationships with other teams, technical disciplines, and external organizations to foster cooperation and maximize technical offering.
- Manage subconsultants, quality assurance, client feedback, and ensure effective communication of changes/modifications.
- Champion the involvement and inclusion of interstate and overseas teams.
- Perform technical quality assurance and report writing.
- Build and consolidate networks within the industry.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualified engineer with extensive experience in urban development design.
- Demonstrated civil engineering experience gained across urban development projects working in Australia.
- Experience in 12D, Civil 3D and DRAINS.
- Strong communication and report writing skills.
- Excellent client-focus and sound technical know-how.
