Responsibilities

  • Take a proactive, hands-on approach to managing construction impacts across diverse sites.
  • Conduct chargeable site inspections and audit compliance.
  • Review Section 61 prior consent applications for noise and vibration control.
  • Investigate resident concerns about noise, gather evidence, and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate across departments to support wider regulatory oversight, including highways licensing and construction traffic management.
  • Assist in transitioning the team to a new, field-accessible database.
  • Serve statutory notices under the Control of Pollution Act.
  • Process back-office bond applications.

Requirements

  • Practical experience in construction noise and vibration abatement.
  • Familiarity with practical statutory enforcement, evidence gathering, and legal notices.
  • Comfortable navigating active building sites.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new digital systems and maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with confidence.
  • Ability to balance resident concerns with construction requirements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

  • New hires will start at the minimum of the advertised salary range.
