About the Role
This is a hands-on industrial electrical position supporting continued site production through electrical installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair.
Responsibilities
- Work With Site Crews To Support Continued Production
- Run Cable And Wire
- Install Communication Systems
- Mount Junction Boxes
- Mount Control Boxes
- Mount Switch Boxes
- Perform Mechanical Installation Associated With Electrical Systems
- Troubleshoot And Repair Electrical Components
- Read And Follow Electrical Prints
- Test And Troubleshoot Circuits
- Test And Troubleshoot Motors
- Test And Troubleshoot Fans
- Test And Troubleshoot Controllers
- Test And Troubleshoot VFDs
- Test And Troubleshoot Transformers
- Complete Electrical Terminations
- Perform Electrical Splicing
- Perform High-Voltage Splicing
- Develop Knowledge Of Hoisting Operations And Associated Troubleshooting
- Develop Knowledge Of Crushing Operations And Associated Troubleshooting
- Support Continued Production Through Electrical Maintenance And Repair
Requirements
- Minimum 3 Years Of Relevant Industrial Electrical Experience REQUIRED
- PLC Experience REQUIRED
- Experience With DC / AC Electrical Systems And Drives REQUIRED
- Ability To Troubleshoot And Repair Industrial Electrical Equipment And Components REQUIRED
- Authorization To Work In The United States REQUIRED
- Ability To Comprehend And Follow Written And Verbal Instructions To Perform Duties Safely And Efficiently REQUIRED
- Ability To Perform Safety-Sensitive Work Without Posing A Direct Threat To The Health And Safety Of Self Or Others REQUIRED
