About the Role
Runlayer is seeking a Field Marketing Manager to lead the execution of trade shows and regional events. This role involves owning each program from planning and vendor negotiations to onsite execution and post-event reporting, partnering closely with the GTM organization to drive program success and pipeline generation.
Responsibilities
- Own execution of trade shows and regional programs end to end, from planning and negotiation through contracting, promotion, activation, and post-event reporting.
- Own on-site logistics and execution for tradeshows, conferences, and small format events, ensuring high-touch, on-brand delivery.
- Partner with Sales and Demand Generation to align target account lists and convert event engagement into qualified pipeline.
- Evaluate and prioritize third-party sponsorship opportunities based on audience fit, brand visibility, and pipeline potential.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing to align messaging and enablement across programs.
- Manage individual program and sponsorship budgets within the overall plan.
- Track and report on performance for each program, including pipeline influenced, cost-per-lead, attendee quality, and sponsorship ROI.
- Cultivate relationships with sponsoring partners and event organizers, and surface new opportunities and competitor/industry intel.
- Keep manager and cross-functional stakeholders aligned on program status, risks, and results.
Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of experience in B2B field marketing or event marketing, ideally at an enterprise technology or SaaS company.
- Proven track record owning trade shows and third-party sponsorship relationships end to end, including negotiating packages and managing renewals.
- Obsessive attention to detail, ensuring nothing ships unfinished and all loose ends are tracked.
- Comfortable executing against a calendar and budget, using good judgment to solve problems and flagging trade-offs.
- Highly organized and deadline-driven, able to juggle multiple concurrent programs and events.

About the Company
- AI is transforming how every company operates, but most enterprises are stuck. They want to move fast with AI Agents, tools, and workflows, but they can't do it safely. We're fixing that.
- Our team built AI Actions for OpenAI, shipped Zapier Agents to millions of users, and launched the first remote MCP server with Anthropic. We helped establish the protocol, and now we're building the platform enterprises need to actually put AI to work.
- Runlayer is one platform for MCPs, Skills, and Agents: purpose-built security, fine-grained governance, and complete observability so organizations can go all-in on AI across the entire company without the risk.
- We just raised a $30M Series A led by Felicis, with participation from Khosla Ventures, bringing our total raised to $42M.
- Already trusted by Gusto, Instacart, Opendoor, dbt Labs, and Decagon.
