About the Role
This internship provides college students with hands-on experience applying their technical studies and learning the ins and outs of the A/E industry. Interns will take on meaningful projects that complement their academic work, helping them transition smoothly from student to professional.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine aspects of electrical engineering under close supervision, applying principles learned in coursework.
- Utilize computer-assisted engineering software and equipment for tasks.
- Collect and prepare data for evaluation.
- Assist in coordinating projects from conception through final plan preparations.
- Provide support to staff members as needed.
Requirements
- Currently a matriculated undergraduate or graduate student.
- Pursuing a relevant course of study (Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, etc.).
- A go-getter looking for a hands-on opportunity in Electrical Engineering.
- Available for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2027.
- Completed sophomore year of Bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineering or related program.
- Strong desire to pursue a career in Electrical Engineering.
- Solid analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
- Resourceful and self-motivated.
- Solid organizational skills with a focus on details.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work and thrive in a team environment.
- Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel and management.
