About the Role
The first stage of this role will be fully focused on Rebranding projects, including the official opening of a lounge restaurant. You will be the first Bartender of The Cloud One Lounge in London, monitoring trends, guest preferences, and providing excellent drink and coffee service. Your hosting skills will ensure guests enjoy a wonderful stay.
Responsibilities
- Tending the bar and One Lounge
- Providing seamless, rapid service
- Helping to organize bar service and determine necessary standards and schedules in cooperation with the department manager
- Providing advice to customers and actively selling The Cloud One Lounge products to achieve sales budget
- Helping to order food, beverages, and spirits for bar areas
- Taking inventory at the end of the month
- Gaining interdepartmental insights into new areas of activity by working in multicultural teams
Requirements
- Completed an apprenticeship in the hotel trade and/or have professional experience in the hotel/catering industry or be looking for a change of career
- Open and communicative
- Possess hosting skills and a passion for the hotel industry
- Flexible and creative with an excellent sense of quality, even in stressful situations
- Be a team player and willing to provide assistance across departments
