About the Role
The Product Planning role is central to driving the company's sustainable growth through new product planning, aiming to realize the best interests of customers and enhance corporate value. This role involves promoting product development in line with management's product development policies, conducting research and planning for new product development, and strategically planning products based on diversifying customer needs and market trends. It also involves managing the entire process from product idea conception to post-market launch monitoring in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, contributing to maximizing the value of insurance products that balance public interest and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Generate product ideas and identify development candidates to expand the product inventory.
- Formulate mid-to-long-term product development plans.
- Analyze the feasibility of product ideas.
- Analyze the marketability of product ideas, including business mix and target customer identification.
- Plan and develop product concepts for development candidates.
- Plan and establish agent commission rates.
- Plan and execute market launch strategies (Go to Market) for product launches and coordinate with sales-related departments.
- Research and analyze market trends, including customer needs, social conditions, agent trends, industry (regulatory) trends, and competitor sales trends.
- Research and study insurance products, including new products from other companies.
- Conduct research and analysis on product taxation (including tax-related matters) and provide support to relevant departments.
- Execute feasibility studies for development projects, including formulating business mix and identifying target customers.
- Plan and execute post-launch monitoring for new products.
- Plan and execute optimization monitoring for existing products.
- Formulate countermeasures based on customer complaints and implement improvements during product revisions and new product development.
Requirements
- Relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in business involving the utilization of insurance and financial products for problem-solving related to inheritance, business succession, and small to medium-sized corporate clients.
- Data analysis and processing capabilities.
- Information gathering and analysis capabilities regarding market, system, and competitor trends.
- Experience in product planning and development at a life insurance company.
- Expert knowledge of corporate life insurance, including business succession and inheritance-related tax and legal matters (e.g., taxation of term insurance for SMEs).
- Project management experience.
- Business improvement and problem-solving capabilities using AI agents and generative AI tools.
- English communication skills.
- Presentation material creation skills and effective presentation abilities.
