About the Role
Responsible for all phases of day-to-day operations within the office, assisting in the development and maintenance of customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Actively sell and refer all Pioneer Bank products and service offerings.
- Uphold established customer service standards and ensure expectations are communicated and adhered to.
- Oversee processing of customer transactions and ensure compliance with cash handling and security procedures.
- Assist with scheduling, counseling, supervising, evaluating, and disciplining all branch personnel.
- Provide continuous coaching and evaluation of staff sales efforts and monitor results.
- Monitor staff compliance with all Bank policies and procedures through training and counseling.
- Maintain proper security controls as set forth by the Bank's security officer.
- Advise the Branch Manager of office, market, and community trends.
- Coach staff on increasing branch sales and deposits.
- Interview, select, and train staff, evaluating performance and making recommendations for advancement.
- Motivate and counsel assigned staff to increase professionalism, exceed customer service expectations, and encourage career development.
- Ensure department practices comply with Federal and State laws and corporate human resource policies.
- Promote EEO and Affirmative Action by identifying problem areas and establishing goals.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and administration of human resource policies and programs.
- Develop subordinates and others in the bank for succession planning.
Requirements
- A minimum of one year Assistant Manager or Sales experience or two years’ experience as a Relationship Banker, Client Service Supervisor or Trainer required.
- Ability to demonstrate sales skills and capacity to motivate branch staff to cross sell financial services.
- Proven ability to comply with policies and procedures, to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines.
- Must have own transportation, or access to reliable transportation on short notice.
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to maintain this throughout employment.
- Must have the ability to maintain flexible daily schedule, including evenings and Saturdays.
