About the Role

AutoStore is seeking a Senior Software Engineer experienced in C++ and C# to develop high-quality, robust, and secure software for mission-critical products at the heart of our warehouse automation system. This role involves developing internal communication protocols, customer-facing interfaces, and deployment software.

Responsibilities

Be a key engineer in a distributed team with presence in the US and in Norway.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
Ensure stability and performance of the products through rigorous testing and benchmarking.
Conduct code reviews and share knowledge with team members.
Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle.
Serve as SME for Cube Control products within the US engineering team.
Take part in cross-functional projects within the Software Engineering team, driving the development of new features and enhancing existing functionality across the team’s products.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
Develop and maintain technical documentation.
Mentor junior engineers and foster their growth.

Requirements

5+ years of experience developing software with C++ and C#.
Must have experience using tools like GitLab, Jira, and Docker.
Would like to work with software ending up as a part of a physical end product.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or the equivalent.
