About the Role
Vesta Management is seeking an experienced Resident Services Coordinator to empower residents through education, vocation, and self-improvement opportunities. This role involves building partnerships with social service providers to help residents meet their needs and achieve their goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategic partnerships with local service providers for on-site or off-site programs.
- Provide non-clinical case management and referral services to residents.
- Initiate strategic relationships with local service providers and stakeholders.
- Build relationships with residents to understand their needs and connect them with resources.
- Collaborate with Property Management, service providers, and healthcare professionals to resolve issues confidentially.
- Conduct consistent outreach and communication with residents via newsletters, flyers, calls, and home visits.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident demographics, issues, requests, statistics, incidents, interactions, and outcomes.
- Align initiatives with Vesta’s resident services program’s outcomes, mission, and goals.
- Coordinate resources for critical issues like housekeeping and managing late rent payments.
- Manage administrative tasks for securing contracts or Memorandums of Understanding with providers.
- Develop and maintain linkages with area resources for social and recreational needs.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.
Requirements
- Bilingual English and Spanish verbal and written communication skills strongly preferred.
- 2+ years of overall professional experience working with families in housing or human services agencies preferred.
- Knowledge of child development and/or experience working with youth.
- Experience overseeing and managing grants a plus.
- Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and other computer programs.
- Previous experience in property management, and knowledge of HUD regulations is a plus.
- Previous engagement, communication, and collaboration with residents of diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds are preferred.
- Experience working with partners and site team members to implement programs and initiatives.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening required.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required.

- Capable of building and maintaining positive relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Experience working with families to support their aspirations.
- Related human services/social services experience.
- Ability to collect, track and understand data to assess programs and partnerships.
- Operate in a timely manner with integrity and professionalism.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and partners.
- Excellent communication, organization, and writing skills.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local policies affecting housing is a plus.
- Ability to work some weekends and evenings is required.
