About the Role

Our department is responsible for developing new features for over 10 services, ensuring high-quality releases through platforms like CI/CD pipelines. We are seeking a DevOps engineer to lead platform engineering and contribute to rapid, high-quality system delivery.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain features and components of our Internal Developer Platform (IDP) with a focus on usability, scalability, and performance.
Integrate various internal and external tools (CI/CD, monitoring, security, cloud services, etc.) into the IDP and build and automate seamless developer workflows.
Act as an advocate for the IDP, providing technical guidance, documentation, and support to help development teams effectively utilize the platform.
Collaborate with product owners, other engineers, and development stakeholders to lead requirements definition, feature prioritization, and platform roadmap planning.
Continuously improve platform reliability, security, and overall developer experience through proactive monitoring, refactoring, and performance tuning.
Influence the technical direction of the IDP and actively contribute to architectural decisions and technology selection.

Requirements

7+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Platform, or Software Engineering roles, with a focus on infrastructure and developer tooling.
Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) or large-scale developer tooling ecosystems.
Deep understanding of key principles and challenges in delivering a unified developer experience.
Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (one or more of AWS, Azure, GCP), including deep understanding of core services (compute, storage, networking, IAM).
Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes required).
Strong proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (designing, implementing, and maintaining automated build and deployment processes).
Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
Strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
Strong ownership and commitment, with a proactive approach to challenges and project completion.
