About the Role
Million Dollar Baby Co. is seeking a driven individual to manage new product development, product improvements, and process optimization. This role involves project management, cross-functional communication, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Project manage all new product development alongside designers.
- Manage and execute product development plans, ensuring timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate Airtable, Excel, and Google sheets regarding product status, photos, and issues.
- Coordinate sampling, organize priorities, and oversee testing, content creation, and photography.
- Facilitate communication between US and Asian sourcing teams.
- Prepare and lead weekly Brand + Sales check-in meetings.
- Conduct product training for internal teams.
- Manage product improvements from initiation through implementation.
- Maintain an organized database of costs and product enhancements.
- Coordinate update of product information, instruction manuals, and photography in Salsify and other systems.
- Monitor and ensure implementation of product changes.
- Implement and streamline processes to increase efficiency.
- Manage special projects to support team objectives.
Requirements
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to seek out stakeholders, identify risks, create project plans, lead kick-off meetings, hold people accountable, communicate status updates, complete projects, and celebrate team wins.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to assess impact vs. effort and prioritize accordingly.
- Comfortable managing up, including following up with the CEO and providing constructive feedback to managers.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in speaking and reading Chinese.
- Ability to leverage AI tools to optimize workflows and improve operational efficiency.
