About the Role
As Security Project Manager, you'll take the lead in delivering, supporting, and supervising client projects for a French, post-Series B scale-up expanding in the UK. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on hardware work, coordinating installations, and thrive in a collaborative, results-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end rollout of installations across council sites, ensuring smooth delivery from kick-off to handover.
- Oversee configuration and commissioning of camera units to meet specific council requirements.
- Train and certify partners on installation and maintenance, ensuring compliance with quality and uptime standards.
- Act as the interface between installation partners and HQ, coordinating schedules, priorities, and escalations.
- Serve as the named technical point of contact for councils, triaging and resolving issues within defined SLAs.
- Challenge orientation choice and ensure partners meet Vizzia’s standards regarding execution and delivery-time.
- Conduct site surveys to validate camera types and installation locations.
- Produce execution packs for installers (HQ and local partners).
- Coordinate spares and replacements with HQ to minimize downtime.
- Produce regular reports and progress updates for management.
- Manage stock levels and maintain accurate records to keep projects on track.
- Build strong working relationships with HQ, external partners, and council clients.
- Regular regional travel across the UK for deployments.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in technical delivery or field operations, preferably in council, public-sector, or complex environments.
- Track record of deploying and commissioning hardware or camera systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and keep all stakeholders informed.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
- Organized, proactive, and capable of working independently.
- Full working proficiency in English.
- UK driving license is required.
