About the Role

Performs floor cleaning and refinishing, carpet and furniture shampooing, and supports hospital moves in accordance with Environmental Services Department procedures.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
Shampoo carpets and furniture according to department policies.
Move furniture and belongings during department or individual moves.
Provide detailed cleaning in patient and non-patient areas as assigned.
Strip and wax floors according to department policies.
Maintain equipment in clean working order.
Respond to emergency calls and provide necessary services.
Fill in for Housekeeper / Porter as directed by supervisor.
Meet performance expectations for Customer Service, Teamwork, Resource Utilization, and Staff and Self Development.
Perform other duties as assigned or directed to ensure smooth operation of the department/unit.

Requirements

Must be able to speak and understand English.

Skills

Customer service experience or ability
Cleaning experience preferred

Education Level

High school diploma / GED required
