About the Role
Soccer Shots Long Island West is seeking passionate individuals to lead fun, high-energy soccer sessions for children ages 2-8. This role focuses on developing soccer skills, character, confidence, and positive life lessons while creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead fun, high-energy soccer sessions for children ages 2–8
- Conduct 30–50 minute classes at various locations
- Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Teach soccer fundamentals and character-building lessons using Soccer Shots' curriculum
- Arrive 15 minutes early to set up and prepare for each session
- Communicate professionally with families, teachers, and site staff
- Follow attendance, safety, and program protocols
- Bring enthusiasm, creativity, and positive energy to every class
Requirements
- No coaching experience required
- Soccer playing experience at any level is a plus
- Ability to coach both indoors and outdoors
- Comfortable being active and managing the energy of young children
- Available to coach anywhere from 5–25 sessions per week, depending on your schedule
