About the Role
Groundworks, North America's leader in foundation solutions, is seeking Installers to perform hands-on work transforming homes and protecting customers' property. You will work with experienced crews, receive industry-leading training and equipment, and install proven foundation and water management solutions. Responsibilities
- Travel to residential or commercial buildings to install equipment.
- Troubleshoot problems with assigned work.
- Test installed equipment.
- Clean up job sites after completion.
- Perform general construction labor tasks including digging, back-filling trenches, and site clean-up.
- Assist with the installation of products and services under supervision.
- Load, carry, and deliver heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) to and from job sites.
- Enter confined spaces such as crawl spaces and basements to perform repairs.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
- Follow instructions closely and adhere to company policies, including safety and workplace conduct.
- Foster teamwork by building positive relationships and supporting team goals.
- Maintain professionalism, integrity, and uphold the company’s reputation.
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned by supervisors to ensure project success.
- Regularly and reliably report to work on time each working day.
Requirements
- Knowledge of trade-specific tools for installations and correct use of equipment.
- Previous experience working in the construction industry.
- Must have a valid, non-restrictive driver’s license.
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Walks and stands for long periods of time.
- Performs strenuous labor often under adverse conditions.
